Business Owner
Carol Long has led Aberford Interiors since 2003, developing the business from its original antique shop roots into a premier interior design destination. With Kevin Duckenfield, she established the Neptune showroom and continues to oversee operations with a dedicated team.
Kevin Duckenfield
Former Partner
Kevin Duckenfield joined Aberford Interiors in 2009 and co-built the Neptune showroom before retiring. His expertise helped establish the business's reputation for high-quality interior design solutions, working alongside Carol Long to expand the company's offerings.
John Long
Founder
John Long established Aberford Pine in the 1970s after identifying demand for stripped pine furniture. He transitioned from property to retail with wife Shirley, laying the foundation for the business that became Aberford Interiors, which he ran until retiring in 2003.
Shirley Long
Co-founder
Shirley Long started the business in the 1970s as a small antique shop in Hicklam House. Her initial venture into stripped pine furniture inspired husband John to join full-time, creating the foundation for Aberford Interiors' future success before her passing in 1986.

We're open Monday-Saturday 9:30am-5pm, Sunday and Bank Holidays 10:30am-4:30pm. The tearoom operates during these hours with homemade refreshments.

Great little interior shop with gifts and decor for your home. They have a little coffee shop too and outdoor seating area for sunny days. Worth a look around if you're looking for house inspiration!

Absolutely brilliant service. We have used them a few times before lockdown and in lockdown their click and collect service has been run like a dream. One of the best things has to be how fast they answer their phone and you get questions answered straight away politely and prompt!
