Located in Chiswick, West London, Urban Wardrobes is a bespoke furniture studio providing made-to-measure solutions for London homes since 2012. Our philosophy is centred on crafting furniture that is entirely unique to each space, rather than adapting standardised or modular products. Every item is designed and built from the ground up, ensuring a precise response to the architectural conditions and functional needs of the room. This allows us to deliver installations that are both practical and visually cohesive.We work across a broad range of interior projects, including fitted wardrobes for older homes with uneven walls and chimney structures, dressing rooms in loft conversions with sloped ceilings, and oak media walls within open-plan living areas. We also produce Murphy bed wardrobes for multifunctional spaces. Our materials include factory-finished lacquered MDF, natural wood veneers such as oak and walnut, shaker-style doors, and high-gloss finishes, all complemented by Blum hardware, integrated lighting, and bespoke internal configurations.

We are extremely happy with our new pantry unit. The quality of workmanship is outstanding and the real oak veneer gives it a very premium feel. The woodgrain finish, quartz worktop and integrated lighting work beautifully together and completely transformed the space. Everything was designed and fitted perfectly with great attention to detail.

Urban Wardrobes designed and installed a pantry unit and a cloakroom for us last year, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Urban wardrobes have some great designs and I really liked the fact it was possible to have the configuration and colour I wanted. They also designed and built me a small wall hung book case and were able to add a bifold door mechanism to allow the wardrobe door to pass by the end of the bed easily. Not something that I had seen available from some manufacturers. The end product is great all bar the fact that white caulk was used against a teal coloured wardrobe. It would be a real improvement for a colour match offering that they included tinted caulk which I think is available and would give a much better finish . Communications were sometimes difficult with lots of follow up required to get info during the planning phase. The onsite team worked really hard. I am pleased with the end product.

I discovered Urban Wardrobes through a post on Pinterest and was immediately drawn to their clean design. The service throughout the planning process for my bespoke wardrobes was excellent, and I’m really pleased with both the design and quality of their products, as well as the smooth installation process. In all, we had 6 sets of wardrobes, 2 large display cabinets and two other complicated cupboards designed and installed by Urban Wardrobes. We are delighted with the end result for each of the units - the look and quality of each of the units is exceptional! However, what really surprised us was how enjoyable a process it was, from the initial design sessions with Mykhailo (who was very creative, pragmatic and patient), the interaction with the technical team (led by Ernie) and the installation team and, finally, the after sales support. And the final, but perhaps most important, comment is that all of the units look and function just like they did when they were installed 5 years ago.

Can't recommend Urban Wardrobes enough! The team that spent 3 days in the house was efficient and discreet. I don't believe I ever saw them take break throughout the day! I am very satisfied with the final result. The built-in wardrobes they have installed include a pullout double bed that fits a real mattress so my guests can be comfy when they stay over. We used the Urban Wardrobes to fit out my daughters bedroom. From start to finish Mikhailo and team were fantastic. Even when we had a slight design issue with a hinge, we managed to work around this, and as compensation the team provided us a free internal mirror. Would recommend and use again - Eugen was particularly helpful!!
