I purchased a dining table from Blackbrige 24 years ago and it's still going strong. Solid and sturdy. I popped in yesterday to their lovely store on Millburn Road to look for dining chairs. The staff were very helpful and friendly and allowed me to wander around looking about. As I wanted to check out lots of different chairs, I told them I probably would return, then left and went to a few other furniture stores to sit on their dining chairs.

You really need to physically sit on them to determine if they are suitable/comfortable as viewing online solely is deceptive. I did return to Blackbrige as they were the only store which had dining chairs suitable for me and which looked amazing. I was served by Phil. Lovely chap and purchased 4 dining chairs. The quality is fantastic. They had them in stock too. My friend was with me and she offered to collect them from their warehouse which is near the airport today for me.

All delivered and looks great. Extremely pleased with this purchase which I know, like my table, will last for many years. Two other ladies in the store were also friendly and chatted with us. I didn't get their names. Thanks for making this purchase fun and easy to complete x

Very disappointed with the lack of resolution by a Blackbridge to a mistake made by the warehouse who supplied two wrong items of bedroom furniture when collected on Friday 29th May. While we were happy with the service on the shop floor from Alex, we received a very poor service from Craig who dealt with our isssue, afterwards. He gave no apology for the mistake, citing it as human error, but said he would arrange for a courier to uplift wrong cabinets from our home and bring the correct ones, giving us a delivery date of 5th June. Courier arrived and collected the wrong items but no delivery of the items required was done.

When we contacted Craig again on 6th June, ( still did not receive an apology) he said our items would now be delivered on Monday 9th June. Having now contacted the Courier directly, we are advised that there will be no delivery to us today. A very inadequate outcome with no further communication from Craig who clearly does not value Blackbridge customers.

Sofa was exactly what I thought it would be.
Stylish, looks the part in our cottage. The 2 delivery guys were professional, courteous and set the sofas up to where we wanted them.

Great experience, although wrong size of cabinet arrived they promptly replaced it. Staff very helpful and great delivery men.

I placed an order online and then called to inquire about the delivery, I was very satisfied with the way it was handled. The delivery took place on the specified day and time. The delivery personnel were very pleasant. I would have no hesitation in making another purchase from them.

Had been to blackbridge furnishings before and I had gone back 3 months ago for a new mattress ( sorry forgot to leave feedback ) the staff member that helped me look for the correct one was very helpful and when the delivery arrived as it was said at purchase time the delivery staff were very polite definitely going back again

Did have a problem with the headboard as it arrived slightly damp and when dried out it did leave a stain company sent out a replacement. Highly recommend the company and the service.

Waited a long time for this 3 months, but was kept informed, delivered on set day was phoned the day before. Delivery courier were excellent put in place I asked, friendly polite and cheery. It was worth the wait, wine rack is exactly as ordered and lovely, even better when filled thanks

From ordering online to delivery I cannot fault anything. I ordered online and within 2 weeks my new furniture was delivered. Great at keeping you up to date with delivery.

I ordered from their website, delivery was fast and efficient and everything is really good quality. In the shop the staff are always really helpful too.

Very clean well stocked shop with top class furnishing, helpful staff, clean toilets. We just missed out on an oval table and 4 chairs for 600 ( gutted) but no other one to suit our needs. Worth a visit though!

Purchased a king sized bed and two chest of drawers, for it to be the price we paid we expected it to be high quality. the first lot received was badly damaged, so it was agreed it would be replaced, when they came to pick it up I had all the stuff at the side to be taken back that was their stuff they managed to mark our walls and damage part of the skirting after it recently being redecorated just a couple of weeks before blackbridge entered our house and the bed was still poor quality but we accepted it because we were desperate to have our bed as we were sleeping on a mattress for so long.

We purchased this from Inverness and was dealing with craig from Elgin but somehow Craig can't seem to notice after sending photos of the walls and the skirting, no accountability has been taken. Wouldn't call their delivery team professionally either and I wouldn't waste my time with them. Save your hard earned money and shop elsewhere please We would give them no stars but this isn't possible.

Bought dining table and chairs a while back during their last so called "stock clearance" do not be duped by these people. They have got another so called "stock clearance" back on from this weekend but this is false advertising we ended up waiting nearly 2 months for our set and had to settle for slightly different set from what we ordered. I thought a stock clearance meant the stock is ready to be cleared not having to wait 2 months only to get something different than what was paid for and to add insult to injury found the same set nearly 100 cheaper elsewhere that wasn't even on sale BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Edit to original review. Having had an issue with damage to furniture and a mirror we wanted to return I posted a negative review. I have been communicating with a manager and we now have all our issues resolved. Craig was incredibly helpful and was able to resolve our issues very quickly. We are very grateful for your help with what was a manufacturing issue. Furniture looks good in situ. Thank you.

Despite previously having had good service and quality products from this company, based on my current experience, I absolutely would not encourage anyone to part with any money to Blackbridge Furnishings at the moment. I am thousands of pounds out of pocket for a suite bought months ago and I still have no delivery date in sight and a complete refusal from them to acknowledge, far less, respond to my emails.

I have also left a voicemail messages which have been completely ignored. Today, I went into the store in Fort William asking for them to call their bosses to see if that would help and they didn't even answer calls from their own staff. BUYERS BEWARE!

One star is one too many for this company! Absolutely terrible customer service. Ordered a suite back in April, the 2 and 3 seater came on time and we were told at time of purchase the single seater would be 8 weeks. I phoned at the end of the 8 week period as I had heard nothing from Blackbridge, to be told it would be the end of July that it would be in. Again I had to phone them at the end of July as no-one had got in touch (yet again) to be told it should be in by 9th August (more lies). Guess what?! The 9th August has been and gone and yet no-one has been in touch. They will not answer my calls or reply to my emails! Terrible service!

I would have given less stars if i could! bought a table sold to me as solid oak on december 24th 2018. 9 months later it started to bubble up like cheap veneer. spoke to blackbridge who confirmed the centre of this table is veneer and that all their staff know this and told me it was the way i cared for the table? they went on to tell me that this was down to cleaning or spills. its a dining table? obviously this family table was only meant to be looked at from a distance not actually used as a table. ive owned cheap veneer tables that lasted years and never did this. so if you want overpriced, poor quality and miss sold this is the shop for you!
