Summary of Current Duties & Responsibilities: • All aspects of new manufactured product introduction from design brief or concept, through prototyping stages to completed project ready for production.This includes a close involvement in analysis of various elements including market driven requirements and any implications regarding materials, manufacturing process, prototyping and testing product, data base, transport, costs, health and safety etc. • Monitoring and maintenance of our “standard product range” from creation and maintenance of standard production drawings, specification and performance of materials and hardware, and close involvement in the production processes involved and ultimately the creation of the Item and components on our data base. • On going value engineering exercises as required through “cost out” process based on contract requirements for bespoke or project specific Items. (PFI, BSF etc). • Technical consultation, (troubleshooting), with architects, designers, clients, fixers, internal and external staff as required, resolving these issues with minimum impact on all areas of the business. • Planned Initiatives are introduced using controlled documentation and processes at all times, and closely monitored to conclusion.
