Enclosed is my current CV, detailing my employment history and experiences, which I believe would make me an ideal candidate for any senior role in Operations, Planning or Manufacturing management within a manufacturing environment.

Up until recently when the company went into administration my role was that of Operations Manager at Atkinson Vari-Tech where I had full responsibility for the Design, Manufacture, Storage, Distribution and Operational budgets of a £12m business supplying Educational furniture and fittings to major PPP/PFI contract around the UK. This incorporated an 60,000sq ft manufacturing facility and 40,000sq ft onsite warehouse facility plus an additional warehouse facility of up to 100,000sq ft.

My previous positions where as Logistics Manager of Sorsky Ltd, Production Manager of Mice Kaymar/Mice Health and Education Ltd (Subsidiary of Mice Group PLC), Operations Planning Manager of Mice Group PLC and also that of Training Officer for NLTG

At Sorsky I was responsible for the warehousing and distribution facility which encompassed two 70,000sq ft warehouses supplying PPE equipment to the food industry using a variety of own and 3rd party logistics. This role was a logistics role where I was tasked with putting systems into place to manage the warehouse and stock control systems as well as controlling our own fleet of vehicles and negotiating with 3rd party logistics companies to reduce overheads.

At Mice Kaymar I was responsible for the Manufacturing and Distribution facility in Wigan, Lancs. And for the Operational Planning for two sites, Wigan (Wood Working Factory, Lancs.) and Pinxton (Metalwork Factory, Nott’s), until November 2006 when a review of group structure was undertaken and it was decided to close Wigan and amalgamate manufacturing sites with a much larger site in the Midlands.

I then undertook for Mice Group PLC, a senior planning management position as part of the group restructure. This role encompassed 3 sites in the North and Midlands areas. My responsibilities include labour capacity planning, margin analysis, account management, warehouse requirement, and sales and operations planning.

Enclosed is my CV, which I hope will give you some understanding of my skill base and experience.

My availability is immediate.

I hope my details are of some use to you and look forward in hearing from you in the future.

My mobile phone number is 07882 615622.

Thank you again for taking the time in reading my details.

Yours sincerely,

Paul Myerscough.
