James (34), whose father founded the company, took it over eight years ago and has since been expanding the business rapidly.

Having worked in the family firm since he left Fortrose Academy, James has a sound knowledge of the business as well as a trusted relationship with the customers. He says: “I tend to sell the kind of the things I like myself, and this seems to be very successful. Our furniture is very modern and people like the ‘look’ of what we have in store and on the internet site. The store carries a broad spectrum of items, from dining and living room suites to bedroom furniture.Some of the most popular ranges include the rustic oak furniture, farmhouse furniture, and contemporary ash furniture lines. Prices are extremely reasonable and the furniture is all made from high quality materials.

James also says: “We import a lot of our goods directly from abroad so we are able to keep our prices down, which customers really appreciate.” The sales staff are all friendly and professional and are on hand to help give advice.
